China Construction Bank (CCB) formally announced the list of bank card suppliers to the public, and HED’s partners Guangdong Chutiandragon Smart Card Co., Ltd. and JiangSu HengBao Co., Ltd. are included among them, which marks that HED has become one of bank card chip suppliers for CBB.
Huada Electronic is one of China’s leading smart card IC suppliers, which as the first one won the Unionpay Card Chip Security Certificate in 2013, by virtue of its existing technology accumulation and industrialization experience. So far, the company’s the CIU98-series dual-interface chips have already obtained the UnionPay card Chip Security Certificate and the China Cryptogram product Certification (Level 2), and many domestic manufacturers’ card products with this series of chips have passed the PBOC3.0 test. Dual-interface chips have achieved its application in batches in multiple banks such as Bank of Ningbo and Shanxi RCCs.
The CIU98 series dual-interface chips use the 0.13μm technology, with various EEPROM series capacities from 40 KB to 80 KB, supporting both international and domestic algorithms, which can meet various requirements of application in finance (PBOC3.0), residents’ health, transportation and other industries, and provide product support for the extended multi-industry applications of bank cards in the field of public service.
